Important Note About Steel Walls

Gator Baskets are engineered to perform best on steel walls—especially in sheds, pole barns, and metal structures. Since steel walls vary in ribbing patterns and thickness, confirm your wall’s rib dimensions before installation to ensure optimal hold and alignment.

Direction Matters

Check whether your wall features vertical or horizontal ribs. The Gator Hook requires a flat area of at least 2” x 3” for a secure grip. For best results, ensure slightly more than this amount of flat steel surface. See example image below:

*If your setup relies on a vertical rib for mounting, the weight capacity may vary due to limited surface contact. Add items gradually to confirm a secure hold.
